Project Description

Wilbraham Place

Location: Chelsea, London
Year: 2007
Client: Mr & Mrs P. Zannoni
Value: £1.1m

We transformed this spacious traditional Edwardian mansion flat into a cool contemporary apartment for international clients. Interior spaces were opened up and long views created through the interiors.

Selected paintings from the client’s art collection were carefully composed in a specially designed ‘Mondrian wall’ inspired by the Dutch painter’s geometric abstraction.

Lightness , transparency and simplicity of detailing were maintained throughout the apartment, with darker finishes in some of the living areas to complement particular items of antique furniture.

Wilbraham Place features in our publication 25 Projects, celebrating our first 25 years of practice from 1992 to 2017. Find out more and read the book on our website here.
