Robert Adams
Registered Architect, BA, dip Arch, PCL, RIBA.

Robert Adams founded the successful practice of Robert L Adams Architects in 1992. By the time it was incorporated into Adams+Collingwood Architects the practice had developed dynamically from one man to 10 architects. During that time he carried out a substantial portfolio of work in a broad range of categories including schools, restaurants, health and fitness clubs and one off houses. The prime examples of these categories can be seen in the complete redevelopment of Bute House Preparatory School for Girls’, Brook Green, the cafes at Salisbury Cathedral and Bristol City Museum, The complete development of 97-99 Clapham High Street for Soho Gyms and the remodelling of 15 Upper Phillimore Gardens, Kensington, W8.

Before 1992 Robert Adams was an associate director at his fathers practice Green Lloyd and Adams Architects a 40 strong practice specialising in resolving sensitive sites in Central London. During his time there he worked on many large projects including 10 Aldersgate Street in the City. In 1978 he worked for a year at Casson Conder and Partners on the Ismaili Centre, South Kensington.

Rob is honoured to be featured in London Build 2019’s inspiring ‘Humans of Construction’ gallery in recognition of his contribution to architecture. Read more here.
